Middleton Place – America’s oldest landscaped gardens

Middleton Place Plantation, only a short 30-minutes from downtown Charleston, is a National Historic Landmark that was settled in the early 18th century and has remained in the same family since the beginning.

The property features a House Museum and Stable yards with live demonstrations of what being on an 18th and 19th century plantation would have been like. The plantation also features some of America’s Oldest Landscaped Gardens, dating back to 1741.

Tours of all of the sights are available, both with and without a guide. The plantation is open to the public daily from 9 am to 5 pm, with General Admission tickets (Garden and Stableyards) priced at $28.

For further information, please contact Zero George, and our concierge will be glad to inform you and help you make this a part of your Charleston experience.
