Zero George is Charleston’s first contemporary boutique hotel, featuring eighteen studio rooms and suites, established in three historic Charleston residences and two brick carriage houses, surrounded by landscaped courtyards.

Juxtaposing Charleston’s period architecture, the hotels décor is southern sophistication with a contemporary twist – reminiscent of a spacious, well appointed and comfortably furnished private home.  The guestrooms décor reflects Charleston’s heritage with three styles — British Trade – classic and tailored — French Romantic – beautifully, light and airy, and Yachting Inspired– a styled nautical motif.

Guests are greeted upon arrival in the ‘heart’ of the house, the original kitchen carriage house on the courtyard.  This 1805 Carriage House has been transformed into the guest reception for our concierge desk, adjacent to our custom designed professional show kitchen, with a signature French enamel cooking range.

Authentic cuisine is one of our passions.  Breakfast and evening light fare are offered in our courtyard, open-air piazza and Zero Café + Bar.  Our culinary team can create inspired and memorable private events for up to 90 guests.

Stunning formal architecture with eclectic furnishings await guests in the original Palladian Drawing and East Bay Dining Rooms while the main piazza bar is designed as a gathering place for the hotel, featuring intimate seating areas, lazily spinning ceiling fans and the Charleston sea breeze.
