Summer at Zero George

Let us plan your extended warm-weather escape to Charleston, where the livin’ is easy. With Zero George’s summertime getaway promotion, you can spend more time this summer delighting in the rich Lowcountry history, cosmopolitan appeal and outdoor adventure our city has to offer. Our “Summertime (and the Livin’ Is Easy)” promotion* includes:

  • $100 credit toward Zero George summer activities or dining
  • Glass of prosecco upon check-in
  • Complimentary bike rentals
  • European continental breakfast
  • Evening wine and cheese hour
  • Shared appetizer at Cannon Green, Charleston’s newest restaurant — and our sister property!
That’s right! When you book your stay for three or more consecutive nights between June 28 and September 3, 2015, you’ll receive a $100 credit to be applied toward any of Zero George’s summer offerings — including dining (in-room or at Zero Café + Bar), cooking classes at the Zero George Cooking School, and hotel-run excursions (local beaches, harbor sailing, our art and architecture tour).

Contact our concierge team to learn more about how you can use your $100 credit toward summer activities at Zero George. Here’s a preview of the exciting city and sea activities we can arrange for you!

Zero George is minutes away from South Carolina’s most gorgeous beaches and barrier islands. Our concierge will arrange private round-trip car service to historic and scenic Sullivan’s Island as well as all of the beach essentials —  sunscreen, bottled water, beach chairs, and an umbrella.  We’ll also include a keepsake canvas beach tote so you don’t have to worry about packing a beach bag!
Board a private yacht (accommodates up to six), and sail the historic Charleston Harbor as you watch the skyline glow with the setting sun and enjoy catered hors d’ oeuvres and wine from Zero George. Or discover the excitement of captaining a sailboat with private sailing classes led by world-class championship sailing instructors. The first of two classes turns the novice into competent sailors with a firm foundation in sailing fundamentals in a 3-day Basic Keelboat 1 class – teaching the basics of sailing and boat handling.

Outdoor dining is a hallmark of summer. Our palmetto tree-lined courtyard and piazza dining areas are the quintessential shady spots for hanging out on a summer day to enjoy chilled craft cocktails and exquisite locally sourced, seasonal cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Vinson Petrillo. Or book a session with Chef Petrillo or Sous Chef Amanda Black at our Cooking School and learn to create dishes highlighting the very best in-season ingredients, such as sweet strawberries and heirloom tomatoes.
