Handcrafted gas lanterns from Bevolo
The traditional iron clad gates that welcome guests into the Zero George courtyard are topped with the charming gas lights of Bevolo. The New Orleans based company has been producing these charming copper lanterns since 1945, each handmade.
The third generation company was started by Drew Bevolo and the products were created with the combined talent of architect, A. Hays Town. The Bevolo lanterns adorning the Zero George piazzas are reflections of sustainability and durability with the elegance of a grander time. Not only is the copper a lifetime warranty it is a material that grows richer and more beautiful with age.
Bevolo has designed a dozen collections including the Williamsburg, French Quarter, Cotton Exchange, and London Street, whose specific design characteristics reflect the region in which they are named after. The restored structures that house the guests of Zero George are charming by the combination of their gently sloping piazzas, rustic brick, and triple hung windows. The warm flair generated from the Bevolo lights adds a touch of coziness and history to our modern day boutique hotel.
