Deck the halls – 19th century style
We invite you to stroll the streets of historic Charleston and experience the holidays in the finest Lowcountry tradition! Become entranced by the historic homes decked with garland, twinkling lights, and period pieces.
The Joseph Manigault House, a National Historic Landmark, located in downtown Charleston features a three-story brick townhouse of Federal style architecture. Every year, the Garden Club of Charleston decks the halls of the Joseph Manigault House with greenery and live plant materials that would have been used in the 19th century.
Starting on December 7th and being displayed until December 29th, the Holiday Decorations will feature a “Twelve Days of Christmas” theme with each room decorated accordingly. The tour is free with admission to the house museum at $10 per adult. Our knowledgeable concierge team stands ready to assist you with any plans you wish to make!
