Annie Pettry Cooking Class
Mark your calendars for Monday, August 24th, when Zero George Cooking School will host the next installment of its guest chef series. Chef Annie Pettry, hailing from Decca in Louisville, Kentucky, will be joining us to offer a demonstration of her legendary culinary expertise. Guests will enjoy tasting the dishes, which will be presented as a multi-course meal complete with wine pairings. Meet the Chef:
Pettry grew up in Asheville, North Carolina and went on to receive a Grand Diploma in Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center in New York City. Since then, she has worked with several renowned chefs, including Craig Koketsu of Quality Meats in New York City, Elliott Moss of The Admiral in Asheville, and Loretta Keller of Moss Room in San Francisco. She opened Decca in Louisville in 2012 and serves as an executive chef and partner there today, applying her classic French technique to Southern and Midwestern ingredients and specializing in wood-fired cooking, celebrating vegetables, and accenting dishes with exotic spices.
